Canadian Slovak League Branch 31 Open House 2017 was held in Thorold. The event featured homemade Slovak food, including cabbage rolls, meat on a stick, and delicious desserts. The event featured a display on the Slovak culture through the Slovak Canadian Heritage Museum. The Vychonda Slovak Dancers entertained the audience.
