Canada has ceased its evacuation efforts in Afghanistan. The last evacuations were conducted overnight.
The information came from government officials during a morning teleconference. About 3,700 evacuees have been brought out of Afghanistan.
Majority of personnel have departed Afghanistan.
Only a small contingent remains on the ground for support, to coordinate the cleanup, said a senior government official.
