St. Catharines
Residents converged on the Cenotaph in Memorial Park to honor veterans of various wars as the world marks Remembrance Day.
The ceremony featured devotion, laying of wreaths, firing of artillery guns and acknowledgement of some community members who paid the ultimate sacrifice in past wars.

Walter Sendzik, The Mayor of St. Catharines, commended the sacrifice made by Canadian solders, and in particular those from the area who paid the ultimate price of war.
