Cultural ambassadors from various ethnic groups tried their polka dance steps at the Slovenian Lipa Park Open House 2017 during the Niagara Folk Arts Festival.
It was a fun time to see how coordinated the cultural representatives were as they take on traditional polka music played by the Niagara Button Boxers Band.
The Member of Parliament for St. Catharines Chris Bittle joined the cultural ambassadors in dancing to traditional polka music.
The Slovenian Lipa Park is celebrating its 50th Anniversary, along with Canada 150.
Guests had a chance to taste Slovenian cuisine including strudel, sausage, barbecue lamb and pork.
